Customer experience

Customers know where their job stands without calling.

Every job gets a number and a private tracking page. Customers get an email when the job is received, when work starts and when it’s done, with the technician’s after photo.

Why it matters

When customers hear nothing, they call to ask, or book someone else.

In practice

  • A window cleaning company. After a storefront cleaning, the owner gets a “done” email with the crew’s after photo, rates it five stars and forwards it to the landlord.
  • An HVAC company. A homeowner opens the tracking link and sees the job moved to “work started” with a note that the part was replaced, instead of calling the office.

How it works

  1. A number right away

A job number and a private tracking link on screen and in the confirmation email.

  2. One email per real change

Received, work started, done. Checked against a send log, so no duplicates.

  3. Before and after

The done email shows the after photo and the technician’s note. Not right? The customer can reopen within 7 days.

Common questions

Do you send text messages?

Not today. Updates go by email and the tracking page.

Can we change what the emails say?

Yes. Every template is editable, with your phone number and wording.

What happens if a customer reopens a job?

It goes back to a supervisor with the customer’s note, and the history stays on the job.
