Sentra SchedulerField service
Customer experience

Customers can just describe what they need.

“My upstairs AC isn’t blowing cold.” The chat suggests the service, checks the address, asks your questions and files the job only after the customer taps Send. It also answers “where’s my job?” from the job number.

Why it matters

Some customers won’t fill out a form. They call after hours, get voicemail and call someone else.

In practice

  • A window cleaning company. At 9 p.m. a customer types “need the storefront windows done before Saturday.” The chat picks “Commercial storefront”, asks for the address and number of panes, and files the job when they tap Send.
  • An HVAC company. A customer types their job number and asks if a technician is coming. The chat shows the status, en route, and the last public update from the office.

How it works

  1. Describe it in plain words

Customers type, or use the microphone in supported browsers.

  2. Answer a few questions

The chat suggests the job type, checks the address against your service area and asks that type’s questions.

  3. Confirm and send

A summary card with Send and Change. Nothing is filed until the customer taps Send.

  4. Check status anytime

The job number alone returns the current status and your public updates.

Key features

Files real jobs

Uses the same job types, forms, routing and response times as the website form, marked with the source “Chat”.

Confirm before filing

The model can’t file anything on its own; the customer confirms a summary first.

Status by job number

Shows the job type, street, status and public updates, never another customer’s contact details.

Answers from your help articles

When your knowledge base answers the question, the chat shows the article before offering to file.

Voice in and out

Speak instead of typing, and have replies read aloud, in Chrome, Edge and Safari.

English and Spanish

The chat answers in the customer’s language, with translated job types and questions.

Common questions

Which AI does the chat use?

Anthropic’s Claude Haiku. Customer messages are treated as data, so text asking it to break its rules doesn’t change what it may do.

Can the chat promise a time?

No. It explains the job’s status and your public updates; it never makes commitments for you.

What if AI is turned off?

A step-by-step mode with buttons collects the same job without AI.

Do we see the conversation?

Yes. The transcript is attached to the job for your office, kept for the period you set.
